Older generations wanted to create wealth for their younger ones. Their main motto was contribution. They had tough times before the technological developments.
They knew what hardship means.
On the other hand , the younger generations are in comfort zone.
This comfort zone has made them consumers and not contributors ( this is a general statement, exceptions are always there )
Most of them think about, how fast and how much, they can take from their older generations/parents. They are in a an urgent mode to consume as much , as if the world is coming to an end !!!!
They have this attitude, '' I don't care .'
Here is a story of an old lady !
She never had been to school. But, she learnt about practical living from all sources.
She helped her husband to create wealth. She always thought of her children's future!
Husband died at an early age . But , before he left this world, he owned properties worth millions.
The old lady, without any floating income maintained the properties , with much difficulty.
She could have sold some and lived well with the remaining wealth. But, she thought, it would be selfish on her part to sell the properties acquired by her husband, the father of her children.
She suddenly fell sick. The 3 children immediately were thinking on terms of how much each will get, if they sell the property !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For making it easy , they shifted the old lady to a nursing home. They thought the buyers may back out , if they see the old lady in bed !
Children are willing to sell the properties for much less than the real price. They have plans to buy new properties and invest for their life.
They are not willing to maintain the property even up to the life time of the old lady. They feel the pain to do so !
More over they don't have the patience to wait. They want to consume the wealth CREATED BY PARENTS as early as possible !
